E-mail list instructions and disclosures
Why do we need your full name?
As our club has grown to more than 1,300 registered members plus around 600 non-member contacts, our Board of Directors has required full names so that we can associate an e-mail address with the real person behind it, as well as distinguish among individuals that share the same first name.
We use RSVP lists, alphabetized by last name, to control admission to club events.
We use a private e-mail list at Yahoo! Groups, a free e-mail group service, to send general announcements and our newsletter to all that have requested to be on our mailing list. This group is unlisted and used only by the Board of Directors of the club for official communications. No one else can post to it or get access to your e-mail address through it.

We also use Evite, a free online invitation service, to send you invitation and reminder e-mails for our events. At your option, you may for a free Evite account to use convenient features such as online access to all your invitations, automatic event reminders, etc.
When subscribing to Evite, make sure the "news and promotions" box is unchecked if you do not want to receive promotions from Evite or its business partners. Please read Evite's and .
Privacy and terms of service
Since Yahoo! Groups and Evite are advertiser-supported, you may see ads on associated web pages and in some e-mails. Privacy policies vary among advertisers, so we recommend you refrain from clicking on any ad unless you have read, understood, and are comfortable with each advertiser's policy.
By submitting a request to subscribe to the WildFyre Society e-mail list, you indicate that you have read, understood, and accepted the privacy policies and terms of service of both e-mail services that we use, and allow us to include your e-mail address on our confidential distribution lists for both.

Click on Edit Membership. Sign in with the Yahoo! ID under which you subscribed to the WildFyre Societyís e-mail list. (If you did not use a Yahoo! ID to subscribe or donít remember which Yahoo! ID you used, see the next paragraph in this section.) Click on the pencil icon next to Identity. Select and save the e-mail address you want us to use. (If you don't see it listed among the available e-mail addresses, you will first need to add it via the Yahoo! Groups Membership Wizard. Click on the add a different email address link at the bottom of the Wizard screen, scroll down to the Manage your email addresses section, click on the Add Another link, enter the new e-mail address, save, and follow subsequent instructions to verify it.)

Click on Edit Membership. Sign in with the Yahoo! ID under which you subscribed to the WildFyre Societyís e-mail list. (If you did not use a Yahoo! ID to subscribe or donít remember which Yahoo! ID you used, see the next paragraph in this section.) Scroll down to the bottom of the page, click on the Leave Group button, and follow confirmation instructions.
If you did not use a Yahoo! ID to subscribe to the WildFyre Societyís e-mail list or donít remember which Yahoo! ID you used, send a blank e-mail to WildFyreSocietyemail@example.com from the e-mail address at which you currently receive the clubís e-mails.
IMPORTANT: A deletion from a registered member is treated as a resignation from the club without any notice or follow-up.
